Services
At the start of each academic year a presentation of library services is made to all new students as part of the course induction.
All registered students of the college are issued a St. Angela’s College Student Identity Card. This student ID card serves as your Library ID Card and students are required to present it when borrowing books. The records of the library collection are maintained in the computerised Library Online Catalogue using the Heritage 4 Software system. Terminals are available in the library for searching the catalog and the catalog may also be accessed from any of the student computer labs located on the college campus. Borrowing privileges are extended to all staff and students of the college. The library also offers an Inter Library Loan facility on a fee basis to students should they wish to obtain material from another library. Student Photocopying facilities are available in the library to copy material that is not available for loan. There are also student copying facilities in other campus locations outside the library for general use. There are at present two PC’s in the library available for students to access the college StudentNet computer facilities. Seating space is provided in the library for quiet study.
